1 l. (colophon), [1 l.], with 11 separate ll. of 12 color plates (10 full-page,
2 half-page, printed rectos or versos only) and nearly 200 photographic
reproductions in the text, printed on heavy cream wove paper. Maroon bookcloth,
gilt lettering on spine and gilt decoration on front cover, all edges smooth
cut, top edges gilt. Beige buckram slipcase. Book fine, slipcase very good
with a few slight spots, slight sunning and slight edgewear.
