Covers slightly bumped and rubbed at extremities, foxing and staining to covers and labels (notably spine), light offset staining on endpapers, interior clean, bright and tight with two extra paper labels tabbed in at rear, overall a very good copy apart from the cover staining, internally fine. Beautifully printed on fine laid paper watermarked Chiswick Press with the lion, dolphin and anchor device, fine decorative initial letters, marginal side-notes printed in red.
