Collates 64 pp. Spine split along fold, covers slightly sunned, small stains on lower front corner, former owner’s name neatly written at foot of title, else very good. Emanuel Haldeman-Julius (1888-1951) published over a thousand titles of his hugely popular "Little Blue Books" with the intent of making classic literature available cheaply, thus affordable to all. This title is abridged from a lecture delivered by Stoughton Holborn at the University of Manchester.
