Heifetz, Stieglitz, Gest, Picasso) on smooth paper, the remainder in black
on regular paper. Publisher's quarter yellow cloth over decorative paper
boards with kaleidoscope pattern design. Collates [1 l.], 1 l. (half-title),
1 l. (frontispiece plate of Prince of Wales), 1 l. (title), 4 ll. (preface,
list, fly-title), 55 ll. plates, 1 l. (second fly-title), 9 ll. plates,
1 l. (third fly title), [missing plate], [1 l.]. Spine darkened, minor edgewear
on spine ends and edges of covers, some staining on cover cloth, tear starting
on bottom corner of last three plates present (1-1/2 x 3/4 in.), same torn
area missing from last fly-title, plate 66 (the self-portrait of Covarrubias)
missing. Offered as is, the last plate missing and tears starting or present
on four leaves, but still a wonderful collection of caricatures.
