cream buckram over gray paper boards, top edges roughly trimmed, others
uncut. Collates (vol. I) 176 pp.: xii, 1-160, [4]; (vol. II) 178 pp.: [6],
1, [1], 1-163, [1], 1, [5]. Tops of back cover of vol. I and front cover
of vol. II slightly darkened, very slight soiling to cover cloth, slight
bumping to extremities of covers and spines, offsetting on pastedowns and
endleaves, a very good set overall, strong, bright and fine internally.
Printed on laid paper with Antique De Luxe watermark. Chapter headings and
opening decorative initials printed in blue. A presentation copy inscribed
by Robert Gibbings on front pastedown of vol. I.
